Hi everyone, it’s been a while, but now I’m back. I’ve had a lot of things going on lately, hosting events for ONLY and I have been working a lot.

And let’s talk about work – don’t we all want something a bit dressed when we’re at work? Something that looks good, but still says something about your personality? I think a blazer would do this anytime. And right now, at least in my ONLY store, there are a lot of different blazers right now. My favorite is the one I am wearing in these pictures. In fact, I have been searching a long time for a blazer that’s not black or grey, but one that says “hey, look at me” but still isn’t too much and I must be able to use it every day.

Nowadays, in this weather the first choice of pants perhaps won’t be full length pants, especially not denim. But as always we have an exception. Like these ones. I don’t really know any motivation for not wearing them – even on the hottest days. And if you don’t like the pink color, I’ve seen them in both blue, mint and yellow. It’s your choice, but if you didn’t know this, earlier pink was one of my favorite colors. So of course these lovely jeans will keep me warm on cold summer nights. And protect me from the sun during the days.

If anything, the following is important – to protect your skin from the sun. I can tell you, don’t get burned this year, or any other year! It’s not worth it. I myself have fallen asleep in the sun several times, and know how to match these jeans with my skin color. It’s not a funny thing to do. Of course you will look tanned in the summer, but don’t stay to long in the sun. Be careful, the consequences are not always too much fun. And anyway, you do want this shade on your pants, not on your skin!

4th of July and we do celebrate the American Independence, and as you can see this day I get my inspiration from the American flag.

To talk about America is not only interesting because of that, but also because of the upcoming autumn and its fashion. Soon you will see some of the news for the AW season in store, and don’t get too surprised if you will see the influences from USA. On one hand, there will be a nice high school girl with boyish style mixed with a nice twist of the retro fashion we’ve had recently. The 70s will stay a bit longer.

And at the other hand we will see inspiration from the Native Americans and their down to earth colors and amazing prints. A lot of mustard yellow you will see. And the already loved feathers will have a real high moment this autumn, not only as decorations but as prints as well.

But this is just a few words of what you will see, let’s get back to the summer a while more. And on this day, what’s your inspiration?

I’m really a denim loving girl. Yeah, I know that might be something that’s kind of taken for granted when writing here. But what I want this to lead to is really the fact that even though I really can’t count all of my jeans anymore, I really haven’t found a really flattering pair of denim shorts that looks just the way I want them to. I can tell you I’ve tried a lot of them and have surely bought a few of the ones I found. They are hot for the moment, but it hasn’t been what I’ve been looking for. But a few days ago I tried a pair of my ONLY jeans and realized that they had the perfect fit. To be a pair of shorts.

And you’ve seen earlier that if I want to change some pieces to look the way I like them to, I do. And so I did this time as well. What I was looking for was a pair of tight blue high waist shorts, with studs. Something like the ones on the pic. And now I’m close to that, just need to get the studs on. But I’m close to the thought of my perfect denim shorts, don’t you think?

Sometimes you find pieces you really love, if only they were a little bit different. So did I when I found this white dress at an ONLY store. Or it used to be a dress. I loved it, but there was something about it that wasn’t perfect if you ask me. But I bought it anyway since I knew exactly what to do with it. I cut it a little bit shorter, to make a tunic of it instead. And now it’s really what I was looking for.

It’s really often like that, you find something that’s almost perfect and when you do, you leave it. I know I do all the time. Thinking, perhaps I should buy it and make some changes. But it’s seldom I do, most of the time I don’t have the time or don’t know what to do with it. But I should buy those pieces more often, or everyone should, and remake them until they are perfect. It makes things more personal and a bit different, and I like that. It’s so much more fun than when everyone looks the same! (more…)

Earlier I’ve had something against white jeans or white pants in general. I don’t know why, but maybe it’s because of the fact that they get dirty really easily, or because I never really found a pair that flatters. I think that’s why. But as you already know there is a lot of white this summer so I gave these pair a try. And now I don’t want to wear anything other than them. All day, all night.

And if you ask me, the best way to wear them is rolled up, like they are in these pictures. They should almost look like they are too short. But it’s not only these jeans I wear like that, I wear almost all of my tight jeans like that nowadays. I like the way they show off the ankle, and the shoes.  So perhaps I can change my mind a little bit, maybe I don’t need only these jeans all the time. I can style the other ones I have in the same way, for a change.

Spring is here, finally! And somehow I always follow the same kind of tracks every year. The trends are put to the side and the same old look is getting back. Somehow you get lazy and all you want to do is hang out by the sea drinking wine. Listen to music and forget all that’s boring. And with these thoughts in mind you find that style, inspired by the grunge and at the same time the sailor style. Comfortable and you don’t have to worry about the fit. Neither do you have to worry about the clothes getting dirty or anything, that´s not even a problem. Because these kind of clothes are meant to live in, and they fit almost everywhere.

And it might be for that reason I love them and get back to this kind of look every year. You can go directly from work to a party in them. Just change some details.

A long black skirt, and that’s it? Absolutely not, there is so much more from it.
You know, I have great love for maxi dresses; this year I’ve bought so many I lost count of them. But I love them all, and of course it’s no different with maxi skirts. I don’t have as many, but when I saw this simple black skirt at an ONLY store, I fell in love.

But a tricky part of maxi skirt is how to wear it; I’ve heard a lot of people complaining about how to look good in a maxi skirt. And how to wear it. Therefore, I will show you three ways to do this. One everyday skirt with a sliver sparkling knit, a simple way but really nice now when it’s still cold outside. One party way, with a leopard printed tube top with ruffles and a lot of jewelry. And at last I’ve chosen to make the skirt into a dress to show of the variability in this skirt. (more…)
