Hi everyone, it’s been a while, but now I’m back. I’ve had a lot of things going on lately, hosting events for ONLY and I have been working a lot.

And let’s talk about work – don’t we all want something a bit dressed when we’re at work? Something that looks good, but still says something about your personality? I think a blazer would do this anytime. And right now, at least in my ONLY store, there are a lot of different blazers right now. My favorite is the one I am wearing in these pictures. In fact, I have been searching a long time for a blazer that’s not black or grey, but one that says “hey, look at me” but still isn’t too much and I must be able to use it every day.

The fashion rule is broken! White is the new black!

White was dominating the spring/summer catwalks. Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein and Derek Lam are just a few of the designers leading the look. We see a lot of summery white with plenty of linen, eyelet, lace and macrame.

And now white is also in every shop’s display and on the rack and I must say that I love it! That’s why, for this look, I have chosen a white lace dress from ONLY. I love it a lot and I think it is perfect for summer!

And are you a bit scared of wearing all white? Pop it off with some brights to make your look extra trendy, wear it together with neutral tones (nude will do great) and layer different textures to add dimension to your outfit.

It seems that the dark days are over, welcome bright and sunny white!

You can discuss wether this had anything to do with fashion or not. But to me art and fashion always connected to eachother, that’s why I wanted to talk to you about typography. Have you heard of it?

Typography is mostly performed by graphic designers, art directors, graffiti artists et cetera… You understand what I mean ;-)

The type I like most are those with short sentences or just words, but when you see them you immediatly think: hmm, yes, totally getting it! Or in some cases it may be: hmm, I’m not getting it at all. That’s what intregues me about it.

Searching the web for some new typography pictures, I came across the site fubiz.com, there you can find loads and loads of typography and other sorts of arts. I must say, I was immediately hooked!

Looking even further in the categories and galleries, I found an album called “6 word story every day”. You may allready have guessed it, this is a person who made a typography picture consisting 6 words, every day, for one year long. Mostly it’s about stuff that’s happening in this person’s life without getting to personal at all. I can’t find any information about this person, but from the slogans I guess it’s a boy/man :-).
