In the name of celebration
Related to the fact that we just entered the new year of 2011 and try to make this a special occasion, I have chosen to create somewhat of an elegant party outfit. Based on the beautiful ruffle top by ONLY -which reminds me of something Carrie Bradshaw would wear- I experimented with the volumes and shapes it creates when put together with a pair of “gentlemen pants” (realizing that they might not be that flattering for the female body, however when placed in the waist it helps a lot for the figure), everything is held it black to emphasize the textures of the outfit (as in the “blue themed” former post) including the fancy patterned socks. Since I didn’t bring any suitable pair of heels for this outfit, I chose to stick to an “a-little-later-that-night-at-the-party” scene (where one’s feet usually needs some rest).
